La Luz de Jesus Gallery is pleased to present Illuminated Aberration, a group exhibition featuring work by Win Wallace, Krissta Passanante, Grace Milk, Mei Mei, and Shannon Freshwater, from January 8th to February 6th, 2022.
Even in the dead of winter, we can feel the stirrings of spring beneath our feet. Nothing is static, and the wonders of spring and new life start to form amorphously beyond our line of sight. Creation is no longer tied to the rigid ways of reality, and the possibilities become endless. The pieces selected for this show are all connected to this incredible ephemeral moment. Figures and faces are draped with lush fabric, concealing their true identity; creatures from your wildest fantasies come to life with textured sculptures, and surreal landscapes invite you to another world. The works are pulsating with life and yet, serene in their kaleidoscopic beauty. The artwork of Illuminating Aberration elicits a feeling of wonder in the viewer and beckons them into a colorful and profound daydream.
I will be exhibiting at La Luz de Jesus Gallery March- April 2021. The show will consist of a group exhibition showing portraiture from the traditional academic style to the cartoonish, absurd, and surreal. I’m so excited to show with this amazing gallery! This exhibition show cases undergrad students at California State University Los Angeles. I have two pieces of work in the show. One, a self portrait sculpture bust and the other is old books with my “Castle in the Sky” ink and drawing. This show runs from March 5-20th!
I will be part of a group show called “A Generous Kingdom 4” at Verum Ultimum Gallery, a gallery located in Portland Oregon. This show shows art that explores symbolism and storytelling through art. I will be participating in a silent Art Auction, The Red Dot Art Auction put on by the Chuck Jones Center for creativity. Which will take place May 17th. However, there will be a sneak peak of 50 of this years Red Dot auction participants at the Portal Animation Studio in LA. At this event you can pre-bid on the displayed artwork. and There will be snacks, drinks, and a good time at both! The auction proceeds go 100% towards the center and other charitable causes.

One of my Illustrations was chosen for display at the Las Laguna Gallery in Laguna Beach. The Botanik exhibition runs through the month of November. There will be an opening night on November 2nd from 6:30-9:30pm with live music at the gallery! It is located in the Laguna Village and overlooks Laguna Beach and has an onsite bar and restaurant. Come enjoy a night full of music, food, and art!
Excited to announce that three of my illustrations have been chosen to be shown at the second annual exhibition called Imagine II: The Art of Children’s Books Exhibition which is Co-hosted by the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). It will take place at the dA Center for the Arts, in Pomona. This show takes place August 12-September 23, 2017. There are many of well known illustrators including featured art of Caldecott winner, Leo Politi! One wall will be dedicated to his work. If you'd like to meet the illustrators, there will be a meet the illustrators night, which will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017. I'm so excited for this amazing opportunity and will update information as it comes.
I Will be participating in an art auction in which the earnings go toward art toward the Fullerton School District to fund art activities for kids.

This is a Silent Auction fundraiser that I will be participating in on November 13th 2016. 30% of the money raised for this fundraiser will go to Free Arts for Kids! Free Arts inspires hope in the lives of children who have experienced abuse, neglect, poverty and homelessness through innovative creative arts programs and positive interactions with caring adult volunteers. The remaining proceeds will go to the facility putting on the fundraiser, Stage Against the Machine theater company. This is a "pay what you can' entrance fee with food and drinks! come join the fun!

Jackalope Arts Festival provides a wide range of art to more than 5,000 attendees. At this event, I will be selling prints of my Illustrations and paintings. It begins on November 7th and goes until November 8th.
