As a Utah native, nature is Krisstas largest influence. She draws inspiration from classic folklore and fairytales to paint fantastical settings where imagination and nature collide. Anthropomorphic figures and plants evoke fantasy and a dream-like quality. This ambiance is intended to encourage the viewer to project their own imagination into the paintings.⁠

Krissta graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a BA in Studio Art. She is working as a set artist for films and television shows.
